Hi!
So far I drove about 1.500km with my winter 2016/2017 851 project (see my other posts) without any problems (boring!). Because I have other bikes (Monster 900 1999- for sales as well and a 907) I want to sell it now. It´s a very good bike but to be honest I am more a tourer than a racer- and it races very well! Except te motor itself was not repainted in black and there are some smaller scratches here and there (which I really did not want to change, I like some honest patina on my bikes) it is in a very good condition with only 36.800km+
List of repair works:
Marzocci M1R fork completely revised (cleaning inside, oil, sealings)
All gaslines new (also inside Tank)
New Filters Air and Oil, cooling, brake, clutch fluides
Aluminium tank new headshielding and gasket
Valves checked
new belts
cable harnes checked and cnnectors oiled
New Dunlop Roadsmart tire rear
wheels painted white, new 90° valves
brakepads new, brake disks in perfect condition
stainlesssteel brake and clutch pipes
injection ultrasonic cleaned
new fuel pressure regulator (that was the fault from last year!)
new rubbers almosst everywhere
new Gel Battery
new sidestand switch
Frontfaring, seat coover, back cover (light) and front fender new painted
new mirrors
lots of smaller things (screws, rubbers,.....)
There´s a 41 (installed) tooth and 39 tooth sprocket and some other parts.
The bike is located in Vienna / Austria I still drive it!
