One of 300 Strada versions, probably less? of the first 4 valve per cylinder, water cooled, fuel injected Ducati, chassis number is 850211, first owned by the Mercedes Benz Racing department, as part of their research into multi valve desmodromics. Modifications to the exhaust were carried out by them following the Ducati info sheets of the time, maybe other changes inside the engine, but I've never had it apart to see.
Bought off the company by an employee and later passed onto to me in 2010, since then I have raised the mileage (kilometres) from just over 6000 to 7095km, as I ride it on a 5 day temporary registration plate every one or two years.
Belt, oil and valve services have been done. On 16 inch wheels of course with almost unused (but old) Michelin tires. I still have one unused rear tyre with the bike amongst a small spares collection.
17 inch wheels, Ducati rear and Yamaha front with suitable front discs are also included, but I never got around to fitting them. These wheel sizes are mentioned in the German logbook.
The rear hugger is a non original Monster part, otherwise all original parts included such as the original mirror/indicator units, both sets of mufflers from the kit and the Strada, a new front mudguard for the 17 inch front wheel, Strada and Kit chips as well as a 'Mercedes Benz' chip !
Overall condition is not perfect with some scratches and signs of use over the 29 years.
Also included are both original Strada and Kit manuals (extremely hard to find), brochure, 2 original keys, toolkit, spare rear light, indicators and whatever else I can find.
