Jasper Hi, does anyone know a source for the nitrile seal that goes in the pressure relief valve that fits in the bottom of the 888 tank?
brad black that looks like the square section o-ring for the fuel level sensor. 78910011A. if not, no idea. not sure what part you're talking about tho, the pressure reg is on the throttle bodies.
Jasper Hi Brad, I am on about the return flow valve on the tank no 30.Thank You.It is 10mm OD and 1.5mm thick.
brad black jasper, the part you need is inside the valve? no idea where you'd get one. they'd never have been supplied as a part.
sagot Sounds and looks like the seal for the "check" valve. Maybe this: https://www.mcmaster.com/#square-o-rings/=185l1pp

Foggy 888 You will have to take measurements from the original seal to be able to source the correct size. Please note that the green color of the original seal indicates that it is made from Viton rubber, not nitrile rubber. Race fuel will make nitrile rubber swell, but not Viton rubber. That is why the o-rings on all of the fuel quick disconnects on Ducati race bikes have green Viton rubber o-rings. Before I discovered this I had generic fuel quick disconnects with black nitrile o-rings on my race bike. After disconnecting them, I would not be able to get them back together due to them swelling from race gas. The green Viton o-rings fixed the problem. Viton rubber is not always green, it is also available in brown, black and probably other colors. I just know that the green seals on Ducatis are Viton.
sagot Possibly this: https://www.mcmaster.com/#1170n23/=18660va Viton but not metric... Do a search in you neighbourhood.
