900ss Speedo

Hi

I'm running a 25mm front axle, and have seen the post about using late SS gear from speedo to go into 25mm housing.

But i need a speedo for the 888, will a 900SS work? Same wheel size and doing the above mod sounds like so.

Any one know either way.

Yes. The speedo from a carbed 900SS is identical to an 888 unit

All I know is 91-98 900ss is the description apparently from a 97 according to the seller, is that likely to be ok.
