SP 5 Fairing bracket

Hi,Does anyone know where I can get hold of a lower/ rear fairing bracket please.Its the one one the left hand side as you sit on the bike near the side stand .Plus where does it attach to the engine .
John in the parts dept at Ducati Leeds has has a look for me but it's discontinued from Ducati he gave me the part number 83010081D

Hi,

Are they same as the ones on a 900ss? If so I might have a spare.

However, I'm not back from Afghanistan for another couple of weeks.

I'm located in County Durham if that helps?

Dulling ton thank you very much that is appreciated.I will try to secure those and if I struggle with German e bay I will be grateful for more help.

Matt thanks to you too,nice to hear from a fello County Durham lad I'm from Peterlee. I have no idea if the brackets are the same unfortunately but thanks for piping up.Perhaps more knowledgeable folk will know? Plus whatever you are up to in Afghanistan keep safe .

The bracket you're after isn't in that E-bay ad' chap, it's the only one that's missing from the set/picture.

Hi Did you suss out where the lower left fairing bracket attaches to the engine? THe bracket is missing on mine and I am attempting to make one up!

Not "original" and definitely more expensive, but Peter (Oronero) makes them in carbon fiber...

They are definitely very light and very sturdy.

you can make it from 4x20mm ALU profile, quite easy..

I am told the,SP5 didn't have that bracket ? Something to do with different exhaust manifolds?
Therefore I have stopped looking,maybe someone else can confirm or otherwise ?

Correct - there is no lower left hand bracket, just the larger upper mount (which is the same as on the RHS) - as a coincidence, I'm currently servicing my SP5.. here's a photo of the LHS

Incidentally - talking of SP5 - I'll be listing a set of 50mm spag headers for sale shortly, if anyone is interested.

Yes I have seen them on Ebay, but I just wanted to know where they attach to the bike, it looks to me like the only place it can go is on an engine cover bolt?
