dudlington After trying unsucessfully to find the correct Corse rear brake disc for reasonable money for the Magnesium MARVIC I want to use , I started to look for alternatives. I found a couple of alternatives that are almost perfect from a Honda RS125(small dia) and from a NSR 250(larger dia). The inside diameter is perfect , I found 2 outside diameters 185mm and 220mm.Thickness are 3.5mm for small dia and 5mm for larger dia. The only difference is the PCD of the 3 fixings. The CORSE brake dia has a PCD of 104mm and both discs have PCD of 109mm. This means the disc will need to have a small amount of material removed so the fixing can be mounted and a special ecentric washer (2.5mm offset) fitting as shown on one of the photos. I have done this previously on one of my other bikes and this works well. I know this is not original and will not be acceptable for the purist but now it means I can move forward with the projec. The costs are also significantly lower (small disc was £60 from EBC and the larger diameter discs were only £20 each (Make unknown but very good quality). I will get some sets of Alluminium offset washers made quite cheaply. I hope this will help some people who come to the same problem as I have found.
dudlington Sorry correction on offset washer Also forgot to mention the diameter of the rear disc I have on my 851 Corse is OD 205mm and 5mm thick.
