BST Carbon wheels with discs BRAND NEW NEVER USED

I,ve got a set of brand new BST carbon wheels that came from an abandoned project. With spacers these could be made to fit an 851 or 888 (Or any bike to be honest ). They cost twice what I,m asking so my loss your gain. These are expensive so no silly offers.

The wheels are from 2009. Buyer should exercise caution. We have seen BST wheels with greater than 5 years of age fail under racing conditions and tire changes . ( I am not post hate against BST products, they are top notch. I personally love BST wheels and have had them from time to time on my race Ducati's.)

I should clarify my post as I don't want to create a controversy or detract from dudlington's attempt to sell a set of wheels. I should have more clearly stated, we have seen BST wheels fail after repeated tire changes associated with racing; the wheels were determined to have deformed on the tire changer and they were both over 5 years in age; use was in the hot Florida sun also. As a new set from 2009 and 2010 and not exposed to UV , may be just fine. Probably worth reviewing with BST IMHO as their customer service department is excellent.

So these wheels have only had a set of road tyres fitted once. Never been used on the road or track or anywhere . Never been in the Florida sun or had an idiot mechanic miss use the tyre changer repeatedly..............so they might be alright for ornaments then ?????. What is the name of your company please so when I see you have something for sale I can give my invalid opinion.

If after this anybody is remotely interested in buying the above wheels (FOR ORNAMENTS ONLY !!!) and you are worried then please give the correct information to your locar BST dealer or service department or buy new at double the price.

I guess if had been a set of 20 year old Marchisini Magnesium 5 spokes they would have been just too old and maybe just lost their chromate finish , and had a justifiable gold paint job to cover their alleged demise. Anyone not confident riding on 20 year old 5 spokes ?

Absurd "sky is falling" rant. Of course something can fail if it has been abused (or simply defective). But carbon fiber has been around for decades now and the capabilities, limitations, and techniques for creating a durable product are well known.

I wouldn't hesitate at all to use the described wheels.
