Has anyone successfully repaired carbon here ? My stand slipped and made a break for freedom through my rear hugger 😬. It's cracked in two places and just wondered how easy it was to get a good cosmetic repair ? Ordered a new one from QB carbon but not happy with it and it's also too glossy (not matching the other original parts which are more of a satin finish and slightly different weave).

It can be done.
You might gonna have to place a layer of carbon on the inside.
You always will see the repair a bit as the weave will not be straight again.

Easy to repair structurally, hard to hide visually.
