I am finally in a position to purchase a Ducati 888 Strada.
Preferably I am looking for: - As close to original spec as possible. I don't mind Termignonis or other dealer spec parts
Comfort that it hasn't been involved in any significant accident
Still in dual seat configuration. But if currently single seat, would be looking for the original parts to bring it back to dual.
Strong service history. It appears many of these bikes seem to be SORN, so evidence of good maintenance and regular running, belts and fluid changes would be good. As much as I would like FSH, I would consider one as long as it has good evidence of maintenance.
I hope this doesn't come across as me being picky, but I do want to be open about what I am after and happy to be re-educated/convinced by anyone if my requirements are like looking for a unicorn.
