What are the sizes of the 2 internal drain/vent lines in an aluminum 851 tank? Are they smaller than the high pressure lines? I'm having issues with the drain/vent slowly leaking and it doesnt seem to be coming from the top of the fuel cap.

The vent hoses are small in diameter, I think 6mm ID. You cannot get them from Ducati as they have been discontinued. The hose has to be a submersible type, not effected by gasoline. The only hose that I have found that is the right stuff is from BMW for their motorcycles, old k100/K75. BMW part number

it's probably the same as the external hoses from the tank on lots of models. it's a single layer hose, so it's fine for in in fuel application. you might also still find it on the later ssie and steel tank monsters - 99 to 05 or so, which had the big cap insert.
the other option is to get some non submersible fuel hose and submerse it long enough for the outer to come off. then you're left with the fuel safe inner, which is now a much smaller od.
