Early race instrument cluster - period correct ?, used from 8x-9y ?

Did they have 10K read line or no red line at all ?

Most standard tacho,s are to 10K

I have one that runs to 11K , however they used the same one on the 400SS models so should be easy enough to find for that authentic race look.

I know and have a 11K red line one myself... did the race cluster have a 11K red line ?

When was this cluster first used ? until when ? (91 or 92 i would think)

Only Customer bikes used the stock looking Tacho with red line at 11K. Was offered until '92 when Customers were given a choice of electric or mechanical.

The factory mechanicals were Veglia - either Black face or White face. Much more accurate and even they came in different precisions. I believe that in '91 the factory bikes transitioned from the high precision white face Veglia-Borletti Competitizone mechanical Tacho's to the white face electric Tacho's.

Ok, will change to the 11K tacho version, making it as close as possible..

Falappa used the fully electronic dashbord too (as Polen did) in 1991.

Roche had the white Veglia this year.

Hi BABA- Thank-forgot to mention the digital box that Polen used in '91- I was only thinking about round analog tacho's. Good call.

yep.. saw that magic electronics box... we'll need to look hard in the part bins to find some of those... few off's i believe ?

Turn that tacho anticlockwise otherwise you won,t see that red line coming.
