I have a couple questions.

First, I have a drip from the circled fitting. Internally, does a line run from that one to the fuel cap base?

Second, my fuel cap base is a 900SS piece. These are the same, right? I have a generic billet aftermarket inner cap. Could this be the source of the leak or is the hose probably just not tight enough?

The fuelcap should be the same afaik, I would try to tighten the hose/circlip where you're seeing the drip.
And there should be a hose between the fuelcapfitting and one of the outlets,
