I am doing some maintenance in my 984 desmo quattro and i am installing cometic gaskets. The problem is that the rivet that keeps the together interferes with the cooling channel in the head. I guess its because that i use updated s4 916 heads and not 955 heads. My plan is to just drill out the rivets and install them without rivers. Any one having some simular experience or some recommendations.

Just drill out the rivets. It won't be a problem.
