I'm hoping to do a complete engine out restoration on my SP4.
The body work is perfect, but the engine, bolts, frame etc could really do with a complete overhaul.
Has anyone done this in Oz and would you recommend someone?

I take it you mean a drop off, then pick up completed. I would suggest as your in Sydney that you have a chat with Shaun at D-Moto.

Yes I have, my first choice would be Shaun, but ring Byron for a comparison quote. if the engine is being looked at, I'd sway to Shaun.

Hey ya, my 2c is that I had my engine top end done by Arthur at Desmo Headquarters in Byron Bay due to convenience, great job,,,,,,
George and Shaun did Chris Picket's before he attacked the IOM so they are also good.
Ive got another SP3 project that will need the engine looked at sometime so lets know how you get on ( I'm south of Sydney)
