A vintage collector I know, just purchased this bike on an auction 2 days ago and he went ahead and sold it to me. Got it yesterday evening. I don't think he knew exactly what he had and the auction place for sure didn't have a clue. 😯

1992 Ducati SP4S #043, 6000km, all original except for 5-spoke mag wheels and Brembo billet racing calipers.

Thanks for all your comments, guys. I am really stoked to get such a rare find. I wanted one of these for about 10 years. I guess patience does pay off. The price I paid is almost not important if you can get your hands on such a rare bike but let's just say the collector made some good money off me and I still got the bike at a very good price - a win-win situation.
Being a dealer, I am not worried about getting it registered as I can run it with dealer plates.
Haven't had a chance to ride it yet. But I was at Buttonwillow race track yesterday and Doug Polen was there and did a few laps on his 888 Corsa race bike. Very cool!!!
