stafford I don't have the 0F cams but I do have the heads with 36/30 valves, I could fit them with A1 cams. Anyone tried it?
jakepeewee I just got 748R heads for my 851SP3, but not installed yet. I am going to fit the G inlet cam and A exhaust cam in it (SP5 cams), since I don't have the 748R cams. The heads are ported, I am going to install the heads this winter. Expecting 115-120 RWHP
stafford Mr.R wroteI think that the 748R valves/ports might be a bit too big for standard Strada cams. Steve RIs that because you need lift/duration to make the increase in valve size work?
Mr.R Yes I think that would/could be the case, going too big with the valve sizes and ports with standard/Strada cams can slow down the incoming gas and end up tuning the motor slower. Steve R
brad black the 748r inlet valve spacing is also different, so the cam lobes may not sit properly on the rockers. i wouldn't go big cams and valves, i think it'll just be a bit of a dud.
vij I am using 748rs inlets as inltes and 996sps inlets as exhaust at my S4 without problems. Sort of same same but different. I had to grind down the camshafts a bit but its no big issue. Jocke Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
