Airtech "kit" shell replacing strada mirrors/indicators

Ciao;

I am near to the end of my long restoration of my tricolore strada.
I’m looking information around fittings the “kit hand guard” replacing the original place of strada mirrors.
Recently i bought from Airtech a couple of kit hand guards, but these are empty at the rear, like two shell.
I was wondering if is normal and the hand guards will be fitted with glue, or the original parts have at the rear the three screw? 😳

Hi Ube,
These "hand guards" came with the early Adamo Kit race bike. They are old, but I can't guarantee they are original. Photos suggest Adamo/Leoni didn't use them all the time, maybe just initially. The Kit parts manual shows a different mounting scheme. Hope this helps.

The factory units from 1988 had three threaded posts that matched the mirror mount holes.
Sorry I don't have a pic, I sold all my sets.

I also bought a spare set for my bike from same people, I thought they would off had the bonded threads set in then as my original set has, but sadly not
