Converting 900SS bodywork to 851/888 race style

New to the forum, poked around a bit, tried a few search terms and I am sure I will eventually find something here but if anyone reading this can let me know what I am getting into that would really be appreciated. I need some plastics for the trackdays/racing, and the OEM style bodywork for the 900SS won't meet my local tracks requirements for an oil catch basin but the 851/888 will if sealed at the bottom.
Anyway, I like the way the race 888 "headlight" fairing looks, cleaner lines and I can see Airtech at least makes it two inches lower than stock.

Thanks for any direction you can give.

Oh! the pan is a separate piece on the 888 bodywork, well I guess that makes sense although I thought the two sides fit together differently than my 900SS and so did not need a pan. Hmmm. ... I still want the 888 race bodywork instead of the 900SS race bodywork. Anyone know how well it is going to match up to the mounting points? As you can see from my photo, the underside is dragging the ground there at the back so the bodywork is going to have to snug tightly to the frame and engine.

In the DD race series over here the guys with ze SS bikes tend to like to run the later longer rear shock, about 10mm, this jacks up the rear, makes them turn a bit quicker and should give you some more clearance too.
