Well my 1992 851 Strada passed it's MOT today - a bit of a surprise as I only recently bought the bike which had not run for at least 10 years. I changed the belts, oil, filter, coolant, brake fluid and fuel and added some injector cleaner just in case and it seems to run great other than what i would say is a rather noisy fuel pump.
I do however have an advisory for a slight weep from one of the fork seals so I guess that will be my next job. I've been searching around for a downloadable workshop manual for a 1992 851 but so far no luck. The links I have found so far are broken so any suggestions would be great.
The only other problem I have found is that the fuel reserve light is on permanently but I have at least 3 gallons in the tank. Any clues as to how the light is triggered would be most welcome!

The fuel light is switched by a float inside the tank which senses the level, perhaps a gentle clean may sort it out if it's been sitting gummed up in the one position with stale fuel,I'd also try a new fuel filter as the pump may be noisy due to blocked filter(there's loads of cheap aftermarket filters for the alloy tanks that fit perfect,do a search on the forum there's a extensive list!
Cheers Marty!
