freqrider The front wheel on my 888 is rubbing on the chin piece on hard braking? Tire is a Michelin Pilot Power 120/70. Forks are at factory height. (I measured) suspension is set up pretty firm. Knocks fillings out on big bumps 😉 Kind of annoying, to say the least! I was thinking about loosening the fairing bracket bolts, and using a ratchet strap around the lower part of said fairing/chin piece, seeing if I can pull it back a little bit and tighten up the bracket bolts? Anyone else have a solution? Seems to be a common problem as I've seen more than one 888 with the telltale tiremark on the chin. Better it than I! 😉
Tric Have you got the chin piece with the cut out that was designed specifically for that problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
freqrider No, I believe those came on the '94ltd's. Mine's a '93 spo. I can't seem to find on for sale either year. I've been looking for 12 years!
