Caper Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, but just bought a '91 851 after owning one back in 1990. Nostalgia got to me. My question regards the front brake lever lighting the brake light. This bike doesn't do that and I can't remember if my old one did. Foot brake does illuminate the brake light, but not the front lever. Is this standard?

marvin It's been a while since I put the Brembo GP master cylinder on mine but if my memory serves me well there is a small plastic "pin" that is between the lever and the micro switch. Don't loose it!
hindsight Most likely the microswitch. Standard new parts from scooters fit just fine - I fitted one to my '91 just a month or so back, and should only cost a pound/dollar or two.
