Replaced the fuel pump assembly over the weekend, nice little job that one and wish I had much smaller hands for it but success in the end.
Thanks to Griff for the advice with fault finding options to find the source of the issue.
Might be time soon to replace the braided lines to and from the fuel filter as the ones supplied by Euro Motoelectrics with the Bosch fuel pump do not look up to the job.
Can you order the braised hoses as an assembly or is it recommended to just get them made by a hydraulic hose business etc.

Hi Dave, you need submersible fuel line. Gates make it but its poison. Or you can get red hose from Tony Powell by goodridge i think. Cheap as, but more than up to the task. You see it on trucks as fuel line quite often.

about 8 euro
