rxs51 While trying to resolve problems with my old 851 (see separate post) I was reading through the workshop manual and started to think that it would be useful to have the Ducati test lamp that is referred to for simple diagnostics. It looks to be just a bulb and a switch but may well have a resistor as well. Has anyone ever made up one of these to use?
freqrider I made one using these schematics. Yes, it's a bulb and a resistor although you don't need the resistor if you manage to find a 5 watt bulb.Diagnostic Box_ .pdf1.07MB
rxs51 Thanks - that is exactly what I needed but could not find any information and obviously did not want to risk any damage to the ECU.
patrick Hi i tried to upload this pdf diagnostic box picture but without success you too? Best patrick
rxs51 Patrick, the schematic downloaded ok for me. I have just done it again to check that it still works and it still downloads ok.
freqrider Instead of cutting the fiat plug to make the box, buy the OBDll cable also and download Guzzidiag. It lets you do all sorts of nifty things like realtime sensor data, datalogging and reads error codes. Much more useful than a blinky light!
