Hi All, I just installed a 916 throttle with fast idle (throttle advance) button on my 888 Strada. Without the button pressed, idle speed is the usual approx. 1000 rpm, and when I press the fast idle button, it jumps to about 4000 rpm. I am surprise that it jumps to such a fast speed. Does anyone know if that's normal ?

you adjust the cable freeplay to give the fast idle speed you want.

Hi Brad, I went and loosened of the cable at the grip end, and that didn't seem to make much difference, I'll just live with it until I can think of a way to make the throttle cam less sensitive.
