Hi Loony,
New member firefly here. Did you have a spare radiator? i been searching for one for months as mine is bent and welded and all sorts, and probably contributing to overheating

i did mate, but i promised it to guy yonks ago! if i can find another i'll let you know though.
paul.
ps i had a custom one made that is a little bigger in thickness with turbolators in the cores and i did away with the fan and the fan sensor.

Thanks loony,
I would appreciate it greatly if you could pass one my way, i'm having real difficulty locating one, even Stefan in Germany cant offer one.
Thanks
Mr.R
Firefly,
Pace here in the UK will make one for you, I've looked into having a larger one made similar to the corsa/SP(4)S items of the day.
They're cheaper than Ducati want for one, but still cost around £800.
Paul,
I run my '92 851/916 special (similar power to an SP 2,3,4) with no fan, it's only really a problem (Here in the UK) when stuck in heavy traffic or queuing for the IOM ferry on a hot day.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for yr advice its most appreciated, i have looked at Pace rads, 800 quid did seem a bit steep at first, but considering that a new one from ducati is 1100.00 if they can locate one, then it isnt too bad i guess.
I have been doing a bit of research and GMX in Essex have informed me that if i take my old one into them, they will build a new one for anything between 350-400 pounds.............so its something to think about.
Thanks again for yr advice, i'm in no hurry really, just wait for the right price i guess.
