Well the sun's out and it's very pleasent, the forcast is good for the weekend (they're predicting a heat wave FFS!) so...
I've just taxed the 851/916cc for 6 months, hooked up the battery (it fired up first time) and pumped up the tyres.
I'm getting just a bit tired of spending most of my spare time lately refreshing my old '79 900SS for this years Classic TT/MGP pilgramige so...
Tommorow at lunchtime I'm setting off for the DOCGB Spring get together up in rural Shropshire, AKA The Severn Vally Rally (a 500-600+ mile jaunt for the weekend and lots of beer!) how's that for confidence in my bike? 😏
Just popping out to the garage to fit the tank cover/tankbag harness, sorting out my camping kit etc.
Well after I've finished soldering in the 748/9*6 Shindengen Reg/rec to the wiring of the old Bevel.
I'm using gold plated bullet connectors and a Balistic LiPo battery, so I defo' don't want any overcharing/resistance problems, can't have the old nail going up in flames after nearly 38 years together.
