Cush drive rubbers
chris1150 wroteThanks for the tips chaps. Ordered a blind bearing puller so will set to when it arrives. Were you able to reuse the cush drives NCR900 ?
cheers

Yes - I removed them to get the wheel repainted, and as they were undamaged and unworn I re-used them afterwards. They were still a tight fit when refitted, but a lot easier to drive in than to pull out. When removing them, get plenty of tension on them using your bearing extractor/rawlbolt tool, spay penetrating oil around the housing, and then use a solid hammer and good drift from behind (through the holes in the casting where the disc mounts) to 'shock' the cush rubber loose. Once you've unseated the cush drive it will start to move more easily. Good luck!
