851/888 955 corsa.
i bought a 955 corsa engine off geoff green of g tec performance dec 2005 at the cost of £1500 i still have the receipt.
i had allready got 851 crankcases bought off geoff baines baines racing that were allready bored to fit 955 cylinders but had never been used after boring out.
baines racing built the 955 onto the cases for me changing anything that needed changing.
they confirmed that this is a FULL 955 CORSA engine.
i will find the receipt from baines racing for the build and any parts fitted
with all the sexy bits you would expect inside an engine like this.
it has twin injector throttle bodies THESE are not 955 corsa i think there 851/888 sp these were supplied by hobbsport racing along with carbon velocity stacks.
there is not a clutch on this engine.
and im sure the stator is a standard road version but im sure i have a proper corsa one somewhere.
this engine HAS NOT BEEN RUN since baines racing built the engine its sat on my office desk but due to rarity ive chosen not to use this engine.
please note since i am a mechanic please dont get in touch saying the engine will need a full strip down etc before you could run it.
all this engine needs is new cambelts for safety s sake oil putting in and starting up.
i still have the 955 crankcases which will go with the engine

ive found the bill from baines racing all new shims main bearings etc very detailed.

Back up for sale I have now found the original bill of sale for the 955 corsa engine from g tec.
these engines are rare.
This engine has been supplied by one ducati specialist g tec and built up on to 851 88 cases by another ducati specialist baines racing these have both confirmed this is a full 955 corsa engine.
