Just spent the day at Donington with daughter, thought I could share some of todays snaps.

No not yet, the engine is down at Louigimoto but fill you in when it's back, I think somebody on here has a real nice 888 engine with nice bits on being built, think it's bound for IOM.

Daughters 17 it's one of the few things we can still do together, Dad is past his trendy sell by date on all other things in life.

But she's been coming to some rounds for the last three years which is great and she is close friends with some one who's brother races in super stock 600. Guess that's peaked her interest, apparently he's a nice lad.

Stafford's having a 996cc motor built for his 888 Classic TT race bike "Emily", it's probably his that you've seen on the bench.
Who's building (or is that tweaking?) your motor, Big Chris Rich/Louigi's engine builder or Chris Steedman aka CJS Racing?
I'm taking my 12 year old daughter on the pillion of my '79 900SS to this years Classic TT/MGP, so we'll hopefully be chearing on Stafford's 888 and hopefully I'll be able to introduce her to a genuine Team manager.
She absolutely loves bikes, especially her dads Ducati's.
Fortunately little Lolly/Lowenna isn't yet interested in boys, I've that pleasure still to come...and then there's her younger sister after that, thank F'ck I've already gone grey...

Big Chris's is doing the motor, I'll let you know what we agree on once he breaks it down, then the plan will be over to CJS later in the year for mapping. The plan was balance & lighten, advance cams and something nice to the heads. Apparently that motor should be putting 130 at the wheel' I want it to be up to 150 so sensable tune and I already have the 50mm exhaust.

Yes apparently I turn into a hulk like creature when I meet boys off a similar age and close proximity.

It's great to have some time with daughter i suppose they all grow up and there horizons change. We're going to the Bristol ital weekend next month she's enjoyed that the last two years.
