The little brass one with the thread, are these parts made for any other purpose Fiat etc?
Also is it OK to use the 996SPS one as they are paired with P8 ECU.

I run a 9*6SPS one along with a P8, but I'm also running a 9*6SPS loom.
I placed the sensor cable/zip tied to the frame, just in front of the LH side of the tank and out of the airbox.
It works a treat and has been for several years now.

I got a sensor from a P7, think it's the same as the one for the P8. Pm if it's of interest.
