My apologies for posting this in the Technical Forum but it's related to a technical problem I had and others may be researching pistons....
I am just amazed at the customer service from Pistal Racing. How does that old maxim go? Something like "if you aren't happy tell us, if are happy tell everyone", so fair dues I'm tellin' everyone.
I mean here's me Mr Nobody, on the other side of the world, chasing almost insignificant parts worth next to nothing and instead of thinking "How do we get rid of this guy?" they thought "How do we help this guy?"
I honestly thought: language barrier, pissy parts worth nothing, why would they bother, I'll be lucky if they even acknowledge my email..........but within an hour I had a helpful response from Giorgio Casolari, the Technical and Sales Manager and the next day my parts were sent via Priority Post FREE OF CHARGE.
We aren't talking a lot of coin, it would have cost them more to do the paperwork than process the order but they could have easily said "Sorry, can't help" or quoted a minimum order charge or anything, but to help me like they did was the last thing I expected. It's just so refreshing in this money grubbing day and age.
So if you need first class pistons complemented by first class service go Pistal Racing.
