A few more............
Here's a few more - again, apologies for the quality, but I thought you'd like to see how our bikes were built. Photo 1 is 851 bottom ends being built, and the next is an 851 on the 'test track', or 'the road round the car park next to the factory' - Fiorano it is not! The rider was really shifting, and nearly had his knee down on the next circuit. Pic 3 shows another room of almost finished bikes, as does photo 4. There were loads of rooms like this, all full of one type of bike (750 Sport, Paso etc.). Pic 5 is a standard 851 in the technical school.
Pic 6 is the entrance to the secret cage, full of experimental bikes (860GTS chopper, anyone? I have proof!). The Ferrari engine was part of the project by Cagiva to develop a four cylinder Ducati, which later became the MV four. VERY secret at the time!
