Looks like you found the frame number allright :-)

Suggest you provide a few pictures and a bit more details in order to get better help, ie

Yoke & Fork configuration ?
Wheel and tire configuration ?
Radiator and mounting configuration ? (I presume you have a flat version as the frame number suggest a very early model)

Don't have much first hand experience with the early models... a curved radiator from 92 or later may doing the trick... (i have a used one if you are interested)

What yoke did you tried, 27mm? 30mm? 😳
Messure the triple yoke for a start.

Hi Rollo, yep a bit more information would be helpful as there are a number of reason for a wheel to hit the radiator. eg you could have the forks poking out of the top triple clamp 6cm, or the previous owner put soft springs in the forks because he weighed 50kg with his or her kit on. Or worse you weigh 130kg and your consept of braking is a stoppy. :-) In which case, yes you will have contact issues.
Have you set the preload correctly? Who serviced the forks last, is the oil level correct? Are the M1Rs or Ohilns or Showa's ?

1098s's straight out of the box and on to the track seem to always hit the radiator, you'd think with all the previous years of mucking around at the track they'd have that shit sorted.

Once upon a time the bike must have damaged the front.
It came to Denmark an i got it with an Kawasaki front.
Now it has fork yokes form an monster, i guess 95, and monster forks
with matris cartridge kit, (recently serviced). The fork yokes must have an offset of 28mm.
But even an offset of 30mm (91-98 SS 900ss ) probably will not make a
difference. Can't finde the right triple york to fit this frame ZDM851S3*000037*

Don't know if it helps you but you can compare to the monster fork. The length of a showa fork, totaly extended are 725 mm messured from center of the axle to the top nut (correct word😳) but it's the black one, on your pictures I meant and not the one for pre-load ( top møtrik på danska? )

I read that frame number as DZM851S3 not S1???
The S3 part making it a Strada.

pretty sure the showa fork triples for 851 and 888 are the same as 900ss.

I put on a 900ss Superlight front end on my 1990 and it fitted straight on. You could go for a curved radiator as the solution. That however comes with it own set of plumbing issues. Or you could play with springs and spacers to change the operating travel range of the fork leg. ie a longer softer spring with more preload or a washer stack. Judging by the contact mark on the radiator, your not going to have to move it by much. Perhaps talk to the fork people.
