I want to thank here the French owner, Pierre who decided to visit his Ducatisti friends all around the territory + Belgium !!
Because he's a heartmate, each of us have the opportunity to ride his RR on open roads, in order to share our mutual passion !!!

By the past, Pierre owned a Ducati 888.
While I was admiring his icon (he removed for me the right fairing panel and I confirm that the engine his a cathedrale !!!) Pierre took dozens of pics of my racing bikes, whispering : "unbelievable, it's unbelivable ....." 😉

On 12th of October, end of his tour, this bike will be the first one with 10.000 kms mileage and a French mechanic might be the first too, in charge of the maintenance. Pierre and his mechanic expect the presence of few Ducati authorities in order to check the internal parts of the engine after such a mileage !!! Interesting ...

I think I'd choose your bikes before a D16RR.
Short of a LOTTO win I doubt I'd ever get the choice though.
When did the French number plates change colour from Yellow?
Is this another new EEC regulation? Oh and when did they become flat instead of bent up so far that the Police can't read them?
A friend of mine returned from a 3 day Track Attack at Jerez yesterday, he told me that an English D16RR owner had crashed is bike whilst he was there and that the damage looked quite expensive. 😯
Still I suppose that if you can afford to buy one and take it to Spain for a track day then you could probably afford to repair it.

---> I confess that even if I win the biggest Lotto amount, I wouldn't buy a D16RR. This bike is too exclusive. I would find an original 926 Racing 1994.
But I aldready own one, reason why I don't buy lottery tickets !!! 😁

---> This rule is dated about 15 years ago ... Bent plates have never been allowed here. By the past this rider's initiative was tolerated, but at time with auto-radars which take back photos, the Police pay a large attention about the situation !!!

1. First Ducati 4 cylinders for GP
2. First ducati with system of distributione to gears in total 9.
3. The gear system is put under the vertical cylinder. it allows to compact the motor and of having a swing arm a longer. Thus allowing a greater traction to it wheel posterior.
