I note the bevel out in front. Either he started way early and everyone gave hin heaps of space then played catch up. Or as I mentioned to a young bloke on a jap 1100 thing who could catch me through the mountains last time had the bevel out ( a few years ago now) "they, ve been building them fast for years mate" :-) Then again I have had the same problem while out on the 851 after the rebuild on a different mountain. This guy on a Hailwood was just f*****g fast. He'd had it since new and it was his only bike. He was hooking through the some of the winding road sections at 180kmph +, and I was crapping myself and he was just pulling away.
Of coarse the only solution to this, is to have one of each. :-)
