BARONROJO Where did the bike get the "Radical Ducati" sticker?? If someone doesn't know, it's a world famous ducati tuner from Spain who has stopped his bussiness a year ago. Now the name and rights continue in France.
Mr.R They both look nice but as a fan of the Bevel bikes, I think he F*cked up a good single and the wheelbase looks waaaaay too long. 😯 So out of those two bikes I'd have to vote for the Pantah based bike, that to my thinking is well better looking than the original Pantah's but... Nothing beats the look of the TTF2 Pantah's when it comes to bikes based on that motor though IMO. Steve R
wgsvintage Is "good single" an oxymoron? I'm just thinking the single may be the cleanest custom I've ever seen, but I'd take home the Pantah in a heartbeat. Bill
Mr.R No Bill... Good and single in the same sentence do not make an Oxymoron, there is such a thing as a good Ducati single and sadly the one turned out by Pepo at Radical Ducati isn't one of them. The last thing one of the old singles needs is a longer swinging arm, all that would do is slow down the steering and the best part of those old singles is how quick and stable they steered. I'm not an originality Nazi, I own a '74 250 Desmo that's far from standard, yet still keeps it's original looks as it left the factory. IMO it's very hard to improve on what those old singles looked like, the early 60's Mach 1 and the last early 70's Yellow Desmo's being the best looking (and the best performing ) of the range. But I probably would say that wouldn't I ? I actually lust after a 350 Yellow Desmo and would convert my 250 in the blink of an eye if the parts became available at a price that I could afford. Baldyboy 8 degrees and sun is shining, finally got a proper ride on my 851. What a beautiful bike, absolutely smitten, different from my 900ss belt more involving than my fuglystrada and managed to pick up brand new mirrors from jhp in cov, for less than I have seen them for on eBay. Great day all round.
