I saw that today as well. Cool for sure! It looks really low doesnt it? With Quartly being so tall, he must have looked like a giant on the thing! I don't remember him riding the Ducati?

Quarterley was with Ferracci for '88 and '89, then went to Honda I think. There is a very good article about them winning the '88 BOTT championship in the Jan. '89 issue of Cycle World. It's also in the "Cycle World On Ducati 1982-1991" book, but the photos are reprinted in black and white. The nose faring on the bike up on the tech ramp in the "Soup" pictures has a little different shape in a couple places than the stock one. Does anyone know what that faring is? And what's with those BLUE wheels?

Ferracci looks like a teenager in the second picture. I thought the bikes were straight L.R.'s and the fairing was normal for those bikes.

I finally think I agree with you Mark. My pea brain was locked into thinking the bike on the ramp was the '88 championship bike that had evolved into its second race season. I can't quite tell what color the frame is on the bike that Eraldo is holding. Do you know if they acquired a Lucchinelli Replica or two for '89? Do you know if the '88 bike is around somewhere?
