I'm personally very sorry to here of this and hope the owner gets his bikes back.
This afternoon after walking to the Post Office with my two little girls to post a 68m stroke crank to a fellow forum member, we were walking home and passed a modern Triumph, my little girls (9+11) asked why it had a red light flashing on its dash?
I explained to them about alarms and why they were fitted, also telling them about a new 900 Honda that I'd owned that had been stolen back in '93.
They both (now) understood what it meant to have a bike stolen and the sort of scum it took to do this.
Losing my Honda back then was more than a bit upsetting, but if I were to lose either my '79 900SS or my 851/916 I can't imagine how gutted I'd feel.
