OK - I know its not an 851 /888 per se, but it did have an 851 heart originally !
This is the bike that I want to fit a 964cc motor to (see thread in Tech), but rather than bore you with a blow-by-blow account in-depth report, it's condensed to this link

I got it in an e-mail from a mate in Italy which I now can't find - looks like I have deleted it - hope he is still running the company the bike world needs people like him.

I'd be very interested in the link if you find any official announcements Garry. A mate is over there being trained this week so I'll ask him next week but I guess he may not see Ascanio anyway...

We'll happily Ascanio is still at Vurus and they have a full order book such that they can't start a new order before end of May 2015 so are doing well it would seem. The Japanese guy who owns Moto Corse and is the Japanese vyrus importer was there this week too so probably putting in a few orders. It seems Japan is the big market for vyrus. Ascanio was working this week as usual so balance is restored to the world.... 😉

Ascanio is still the owner yes. When my friend Chris was there last week, he arrived very early and only Ascanio was in the workshop :-)
