Anyone recognise this bike

Recently bought this 1991 strada and I'm attempting to trace its history believed supplied new by sports motorcycles then exported to Ireland . Shows it has only covered 8600 miles but it has no mirrors and it is immaculate in condition I have a variety of receipts from baines racing showing work bits and miles corroborated by old mots going back 10 years but nothing prior to that. Guessing if it has only done those miles it will be a known cherished bike. Thanks tim

That's a '90 model the '91 Strada had upside down forks chap.

Thanks was aware it's a 90 mod and date of reg is 06/91. Know it was serviced by a neil mcwhirter in N.I. Came here having seen you talk about it on the other forum. Thanks mr r

Well it gets better and better, I spoke to the dealer that serviced it in N.I. and the mechanic at MOTOTECH (Brian) was the same that has serviced it from new even doing its PDI, all the way until it came into england, I now can confirm it has had 4 previous keepers, of those 3 are from N.I. it was supplied via sports motorcycles to the first owner who owned G.S. motorcycles in N.I. brian pdi'd it and then continued to service it for the next 3 owners, mileage has been confirmed as genuine at under 9000. I am v v happy.

Ciao ragazzi...l'unica cosa strana e che abbia una forcella tradizionale M1R....perche e giusto come dice Mr.R che il modello sopracitato dovrebbe avere la Showa rovesciata......potrebbe invece essere il modello del 90.

Thanks I assume it is a 1990 model registered in 1991, probably unsold, where sports motorcycles the importer at the time? I have traced it to the original mechanic who Pdi'd it and then serviced it to 2012, the factory have confirmed it as a 1990 and genuine matching their records. Thanks for all the comments and help

Hi,
The model shown in the image is actually the first 851 strada dual seat model ,or biposto as they are now known as. I owned the single seat version along time ago ( monoposto ).
