Wow, lot a bikes, very noisey, heaps of fun, he'll of a lot of old guys. Many times over replicated scene of old bloke with a beard twisting the throttle and listening especially on the 2 strokes. We set up yesterday. Qualifying today, racing tomorrow. The 350 is behaving itself. Half way through throttle cable change on the TT2 pretender. ( waiting for cables). Helped another bloke on a 350 by fixing his electronic ignition issue. Then had to rescue last years IOM TT 851 contender which is 2 pit bays away. Had a chat and a bit of a look, no wonder it didn't fair to well. It had an ignition shut down at WOT intermitant issue at the TT and cost them an ecu. Had it again today, but it hadn't totally failed. I got the guys to reseat all the plugs and relays. Surprise, issue went away. Seems they may have wasted some cash in last years ecu investment. It's been converted to a 1.6m.
The kid that's riding it bloody loves it. Tempted to take mine and show him what a fast one goes like. 😁 Theirs runs out of puff at 260, same as mine, but I reckon mine would get there faster.

Well not too shabby. Scored 5th on the 350 which only revved to 6500, as the guy that prepared the bike hasn't dealt with some tuning issues yet. Beaten by a Bultaco TSS, a hot 350 Sebring, Manx 350, Ajs 7R. Next meeting in a months time and if I can convince old mate what he needs to do might get a lap record. Came real close last year.
