Is there any difference between st4 vs monster s4 headers performancewise.
Found a 4valve 45 mm id headersystem from a s4 monster for free, and that is cheap! The headers don't exit where I want them too, but I intend too fix that withmy old trusty Miller tig-welder. I' ve read about the clearance issues with the st4 headers, but this doesn't seem to be a problem here.

if they're 45mm id then they should be fine. it should be similar to the st4 header through the swingarm hole.

The header id is 42 mm 'til the crossoversection and from there on id is 45 mm. Strange thing this, but the original header id is only 38(?)mm so anyway it's a step in the right direction atleast.
May be a homemade thingy, I got it in a box when I bought the bike anyway. So then I don't have anything to worry about cutting in to it and reweld it and that's a good thing.
