Not yet finished but just lacking of details and small parts (on their way), I'd like to show you something I'm particularly pride of...
As the engine is an ST4S, I'm using an S4R (same engine) wiring loom to make everything work. Of course it has required some minor mods for compatibility with the 851 parts. (lights, blinkers, warnign and dash lights...) but nothing impossible with some study and rewiring time.
But on the monster, battery, fuses, ECU and some other electrical ancillary parts lay beneath the fuel tank which is quite a different arrangement to the 851.
But, thanks to the space saving a lithium battery offers I've been able to rearrange all these components on "logical" places on the 851.
On the battery tray now I have the battery itself, the MM59 ECU and the starter relay. With just a couple of home brackets I've managed to use the threads allready existing on the battery tray for both the battery support bracket and the fuse holder.
The fuse box has been bolted to the coil threaded supports existing on the frame with another home made barcket and presto!!! It looks like a factory arrangement without cutting a single wire and it makes me very happy!!!
Yes, the starter wire is a bit ugly (too short) but it's just there for the moment for testing. It will be replace with a custom length one.
