Mr.R It's not to my taste as the 851/888's just look soooo right in Red, but each to his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it's not the 1st Silver 851 that I've seen. Many years ago now Andy Callingham a Ducati/Italian bike club stalwart who lives in Plymouth, had his then brand new '89 851 painted in Laverda Silver just to be different. That bike now hangs on the wall of a National Lottery winner... What a waste of a good bike IMO. 😏 Waaay back in '81 I had my 900SS painted Red because you didn't see many Red Ducati's around back then. Steve R

Remquo I stiil kept the original fairings (these are from Ricambi Weiss), so I can dress her according to my mood. It's a Honda colour btw, found that out after the paintjob, done by MotoPaints Assen And the other beauty I own will remain red 😉
Pompey I like it, instantly thought of the Senna... goes well with the period stickers to. I used RW bodywork on my Bimota DB2, great product.
