Just got back from my first day at the track since 84. Well have to say that was a bit of a hoot. Did the pit bit for a mate on his 73 350 sport road bike which I recently set up. I'd say its going to take a couple of days to wipe the smile of his dial. Short 960 m track and he shaved 6 seconds off his personal best from the last 3 years, and sitting on lap times the same as blokes on 350 wide cases in full race trim.
Think I'll be giving it another shot in September.
