I have been reading all the forum projects and ongoing advice for a while now which is fantastic and thought it was time to add a small piece on my minor project which is happening over the next few weeks, especially since I have sourced all the parts from forum members (thanks guys you know who you are). I have been inspired by the documenting of projects especially like Jafa's (thanks mate and keep up the great work) as I really get a lot from your posts and photos and also wanted to use this as a chance to say thank you to those who have and will assist with the modification.
So I have an 89 851 Strada (888 upgrade) and want to install the ST4 header and Termi mufflers I now have to replace the original headers (modified) and OEM pipes (baffles removed and high mount as per photos). Number of reasons why I want this modification including;
current modified header just happens to slightly block access to the oil drain plug (need to remove headers each oil change which sucks);
Brads write up on the ST4 header mod and the benefits was fantastic (many thanks Brad) and
being able to see Griffs setup on his bike in person and understanding what is involved in the modification of the ST4 header (many thanks as always Griff).

So all going to plan bike will be over with a mate of Griffs in just over a week to have the ST4 header modified, Termi mufflers fitted then header dropped off to Thermal Edge coating to finish off. Will post some photos on completion to finish off this post.
