Thought some of you might be interested
Making a 851/888 frame from T45 will be sifbronzed and nickel plated
Will be 2/3rds of the standard weight
Also reverse engineering the monster framie back into an 888 frame

Still making the front and rear subframes in alloy:
Doing a fibreglass undertray

Oh aren't we just having fun in the shed then. I know a bloke here that use to weld Harris frames back in the UK, to build for them you have to do a coarse. Neil was telling me the teacher was good, really good almost total perfection. His secret, a little ritual not unlike a japanese tea ceremony, but with welding gear before every job. Picturing the weld as he went through. It puts your head in the right place. I love it, very zen. Go Zen or go home I say.

PS I am the worlds second worst welder. I think I'm marginally better than my cat at it.

Hi hope no one minds me posting this
brand new TIG welded 888 frames will be £1500 with a certificate of newness(for registration purposes)
can also do frames with the corsa gusseting and fixed or removable brace
can also do 851 style frame with the mitred joints near headstock
