Nitro Nori will be doing one round in World SBK this June at Imola. He'll be riding a BMW. With very limited time on the bike who knows how he will do, but at least he can give some guys a hard time and he'll be going for broke.

My fav rider of all time, but that bike is a back the grid job, a bit worried he won't be able to hit top 10 on that thing. But hopping for a surprise.

Such a shame, he ended up being a nearly man like Walker all the seconds & thirds must take a toll on your confidence; I (like all) thought it was a done deal when he got the Ducati ride. I look forward to seeing him race again... I also see he is partnering Kagayama & Schwantz at Suzuka! 😎

Good he's back for him, but I can't help but think he's taking a ride that some up and coming rider would make better use of. When he got the Ducati ride I didn't think he'd stand a chance of winning, because the bike is so different and requires a different riding style to what he'd been on for so many years, + he's lacking ever so slightly somewhere which is why he's the almost man. Not knocking him, because he can ride rings around 99% of people, but he's just not quite in the Bayliss / Biaggi / Checer / Fogerty / Edwards league somehow.

I dont think BMW will be expecting anything from him other then development advice. He started as a test rider and he will give them some great feedback. As for being anywhere near the front? Sadly not I think, unless its the burger van queue.
