Parts Manual - 1989 851 Strada

Hi All,

Can anyone confirm if there is a specific Parts Manual for the 1989 - 851 Strada (single seat).

I have been looking throughout this forum and have found Parts Manuals from 1990 onwards or 1988 (and the 1989 Workshop Manual - thanks guys) but not the Parts Manual for the 1989 - 851. Does one exist and if so can one be posted on the forum?

Alternatively if the 1990 parts manual is the next best thing than happy to hear any advice.

It does exist because i have it, in fact i have all the parts and service manuals for all Ducati's but on a proper Ducati USB stick which cant be copied other than doing a print screen for every page which would take forever.
If you want some specific part numbers let me know.

At least I know it exists now (thanks Paddy - what actual format is the file on your USB) and thanks also for the offer to run any part numbers through you. Haven't got any specific part numbers right now but wanted the electronic manual to start slowly shopping for bits and pieces to give the 851 a spruce up in a few years and to stretch the $$$ out over a period of time.

Any forum member have an electronic copy they can put on the site now Paddy has confirmed it exists.
It would be really appreciated.😱😱

I have a parts manual in pdf for 851 S but I cannot tell which model year because nowhere in the manual is any date or model year printed.

If you send me a private message with your email address I may be able send you the pdf file I got.

Thanks also from me for emailing the manual out.

A quick look through it suggests it's an 88 Tricolore kit & strada parts book - lots of parts common with the 89 but some differences.

I agree with ducatibruce that the Parts Manual is for the 88 851 Tricolore but still very handy for the 89 851.

Can any forum members advise what the major changes are from the 88 Tricolore to the 89 851 (first obvious one is the exhaust pipes) but what other parts changed so I can take it into account when using the manual supplied by Jan?

Looks to me like its for the early 851 Strada and the Tricolore Kit bikes, so probably '89.

I'd love a copy of the workshop manual also please Jan 😱)
