I have been aproached to get some bikes together for a car & bikle show, anyone fancy a meet?

Also it is in aid of a childrens hospice. I will be taking my 749RS ex Jessop bike and no doubt Dad his SP4.

Maybe spend saturday at CJS Racing.

I'd be up for it but have my children that weekend as I'll be off to the IOM TT a week or so later.
So cash will be a bit short and Brisol is a 300+ mile round trip for me.
Shame as I'd have liked to have chucked my old nail on Chris's dyno to see how she's doing and meet up with fellow 851/888 fans.

If anyone is going, bring a side stand puck, or paddock stand if trailering your bikes.

Would you be able to get to Caring with Cars earlier on Sunday, at around 8.45-9.15?

We'd like to put your bikes in the showcase area on the lawn. It's an area where we highlight some of the interesting stuff attending.

Ostensibly the event is only for the 510 registered people on the PH calendar list.

However, we have taken the decision that motorbikes take up little room (as long as there are not hundreds) so we'll not bother turning unregistered bikes away. We're not encouraging any more people with bikes, but if they turn up then they'll get in. Any unregistered cars, on the other hand, will be turned away and that goes for people on the reserve list too.

If you can let me know, as you say, asap about your forum's bikes I can at least have a handle on numbers.

888 meet @ "Caring with Cars", Bristol.

Good to meet the forum guys who made it to this event, and thanks to Mick and Andy 😎who provided lashings of paddock stands for those of us with suicide side-stands. Even the sun made a guest appearance.
4x 888s made it.
2 x SP4, 1 SP5 doppelganger and one Strada, + an ex Martin Jessop 749R taking the prize for most musical on the sound meter.

It would be good to get some more face to face meets/ rides going before end of this Summer.

Pictures of pilots with bikes taken during the noise testing (loudest won). Sorry I can't supply the smell of hot Ducatis, exhaust gas, various cleaning products and damp grass, just to liven up the pictures.

Hi Phil, really nice to have met you and the others to put a face to a name. We left a little bit early because the thought of 500 cars trying to get off the estate at the same time was a bit worrying.😯 If anyone is wondering why Paul [ in pic 3 ] is smiling, it's because on the " Rev off ", measured with a decibel meter, he dropped the nearside silencer off. He didn't win but he got my respect for initiative and ingenuity. 😁😁😁

Nice day out lads and good to catch up! Went down to Weston super nightmare afterwards for a bag of overpriced chips and a walk on the pier with the family. No fluid on the back wheel when I got home but I'll keep an eye on it - really enjoyed my first ride out on it!!

Did the SP4 exhaust fall off when it parked? Or was it cheating for the noise meter! Looks like some of us missed a good day out.
